Being present

They say there are more grains of sand on a single beach, than the stars in the observable universe. Our world is an infinite mix of space and time, and as far as we know, earth is the only object in the universe with life on it. Time as we know has existed for billions of years and will exists for billions of year in the future as well. And in this large expanse of this universe and time, here on this earth, away from everything dead and frozen, is you. This spec of life, which exists in this unique form that is you. Never before in the billions of year has this form existed, and never again will it for the billions of years to come. That’s what makes you so precious. And more importantly, that’s what makes this present moment so precious. Because in reality, there is no past and no future. It exists only in the human mind’s imagination. What really does exist is this present moment. The universe has travelled billions of years, gone through zillions of transformations, collisions, creations and destructions to the eventuality that you exist. You are the epitome of a billion years of struggle called life. You are truly special and you are the one. So, don’t dissipate being in the future or the past. Don’t waste away being in your mind. Experience life, be present and flourish, for there is nowhere to go to and nothing to achieve. You have already made it. You are already here. Now be present, for this moment is all there is, was, or will be.
